Story Bird: Bird Whistles Vibrate Heart Strings
Story Bird: A little bird named Beakly who loved to hear humans whistle. Whenever Beakly heard someone whistling, she would chirp and sing along with the tune. However, whenever someone talked to her, she would become shy and quiet.
One day, Beakly's bird friends questioned her to why she preferred hearing humans whistle over talking. Beakly explained that there were a few reasons for why she enjoyed whistling more than talking.
And it goes like this: Firstly, birds have a natural ability to mimic sounds, and whistling is a sound that is easier for them to imitate compared to human speech. Birds can learn to whistle a tune quickly, but it takes them much longer to learn human words.
Secondly, birds are attracted to the sound of whistling because it is a sound that is commonly heard in nature. Birds use whistling to communicate with each other, and they enjoy hearing it from humans as well.
Lastly, birds prefer whistling over talking because it is a more pleasant sound. Human speech can be harsh and loud, which can scare or stress out birds. Whistling, on the other hand, is a softer and more calming sound that birds find soothing.
From that day on, both Beakly and her friends learned to appreciate the sound of whistling even more. She so dearly loved hearing humans whistle and would often chirp and sing along with the tune. And whenever someone talked to her, she would always feel shy, but deep inside she knew that she could always rely on the sweet sound of whistling to make her feel happy and peaceful again π. πΆπΆπΆπΆπ¦π₯°
